You either love White Castle burgers or you hate them. I love them. This location was pretty standard- we went through the drive thru, employees were friendly and offered us whatever was on special. We were through and gone in about five minutes which is great in my opinion. We get the #7, cheese with everything and a Sprite & Cherry Crave cooler. Burgers were fresh and hot along with the fries. Plenty of napkins in the bag and everything was neat. Best fast food ever.
I don't remember eating very many White Castle burgers when I lived in Michigan growing up as a kid. But, since I have lived in California for over 30 years I crave them all the time. So I was very excited on my vacation in Detroit to finally enjoy "me some White Castle hamburgers" they call them sliders now. When I saw this White Castle not far from my mom's house I had to make a stop. The restaurant was clean and had a nice size dining area. The females behind the counter were friendly and the service was fast. The restaurant had several cool posters on the wall and a clean restroom. I ordered six of the sliders three with cheese and three without, fries and a diet coke. My husband ordered the same. They were hot and delicious, the buns were soft and fresh just the way I remembered them. They don't come with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, bacon just a small meat patty, seasoning and sautéed onions. So until next time White Castle keep on doing what you're doing.
